I have sheep, chickens, a barn cat and two dogs here. They are all part of my daily routine, including growing my own food. Even amidst COVID-19, having the stability of chores outside, the nurturing of plants and animals, it keeps me grounded, purposeful and is always hopeful with new life.
In farming you see cycles, sometimes sadness and loss, but there is always something encouraging and often surprising that keeps one moving curiously forward. I play fiddle and piano which also brings joy.
Always find the joy in your life and hold on to it.
